Portland Fall Getaway

The Fulton House, located in the South Portland neighborhood, is an easy walk to numerous excellent restaurants, boutiques and public transit.

Our guests enjoy both the amenities of city life, the appeal of the quiet tree-lined residential streets and Willamette Park which is just 1 Block away – perfect for morning jogging or an afternoon stroll.

We are a short 20 – 30 minute drive from the airport. If you are not driving from the airport, you can take the MAX light rail “Redline” directly from the airport to downtown and at 5th & Main take bus 35 which stops 1 block south of us.

We’re conveniently located near entrances to I-5, I-84, I-405 and Hiway 26, so whether you wish to drive north, south, east, or west, it’s a breeze depending on the season and the weather. The Fulton House is just minutes to downtown Portland. Bus lines are within one block of us that take you directly into the City.   You can connect with MAX light rail  when you reach “Pioneer Square” downtown ( $5 all day pass includes both). The tram to Oregon Health Science University is about 15 blocks away; you may walk there along the Willamette Greenway on the Willamette River, take bus 35 or drive to a paid parking lot at the east end (bottom) of the tramway (patient parking and tram free).
